Virtual event to answer your questions on proposed relocation of Clacton GP practices

Local people are invited to join a virtual event next week to discuss proposals to relocate the Ranworth and St James GP practices in Clacton.

The proposal would see both practices move from their current outdated premises to a new state-of-the-art facility at Clacton Hospital, which is less than one mile away.

The event takes place on Thursday April 8 from 14:00 – 15:30 and is an opportunity to learn more about the plans, ask questions and give feedback.

Hosted by Oge Chesa, NHS North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group’s deputy director of primary care, other panel members will include practice managers from both GP surgeries, Patient Participation Group members and representatives from primary care and estates.

Commenting on the event, Oge Chesa, said: “The proposed relocation would give the two practices a much-improved environment for patient care, but it’s important that everyone has an opportunity to ask questions and share their views about these plans.

“GP practice health care provision is such an important part of all our lives, so it’s vital that everyone has the opportunity to have their say.”
